My sis came to India yesterday so I am DOUBLE AWESOME! :D :D
College and submissions are usual, busy and fun! :D
And today is my turn to inspire you with my Pie Lane card for our very first CHALLENGE!

FOUR MINUTES 2 FOUR

So!.. I went to Mumbai for a very short trip! :)
Family function.. More on that on my personal blog {here} .

The first day I reached I had a LOONG list in my hand, listing all the craft stores in Mumbai! *LOL*

Yeah!.. I am THAT crazy!.. And I'm sure you'll understand! *wink*

But unfortunately, due to very limited time, I could only visit a two { Four Minutes 2 Four and Hobby Ideas} .

Four Minutes 2 Four was my FIRST EVER proper craft store that I visited!.. And I absolutely LOVED it!!

It feels sooo good to roam around a place all filled with awesome craft stuff! :D

And I am sooo lucky to have the sweetest parents in the whole wntire univers who soo sweetly waited watching the super-excited me jumping around and picking up stuff from various shelves and collecting them on the counter! :D
And to laugh after they saw my expression when I came to know how much I spent!

So, more about this store. They have ALL the imported brand!.. Awesome collection, which I am sure, never stays in the store for long! *wink*
And they DO deliver to various cities { including Delhi } :D

And the owner, Ruchi, is the sweetest person! :D

She showed me around her store, we chatted! It was FUN! :D

This is going to be a detailed post today! *wink*

So, loads of news! :D

As you all know by now that I am very much in love with my life!.. Loving collge, loving work, sometimes it DOES get a bit too much.. But its awesome in the end. :)

Oh!.. And a few days back, I made PANCAKES! :D

I really really wanted to have some and Mc Donald's only offer them in the breakfast menu and honestly, they were not that much of hard work! :)

And today I made a real card! :D

I know all my cards are real but you know what I mean right? *wink*
And if you don't, then this card I made just to get my mind off a few things and relax! :)

I have a card I made a day ago for the Pie Lane Blog.
As it turned out, I was not entirely happy with it. When I sat with Pie Lane literally spread on my table, my mind was blank!
I had NOO idea of what I am making. Yeah, sometimes mojo takes a vacation without informing and that's bad!.. Especially when you don' have much time in hand.
Enough cribbing!

Life's a Circus!

It seems as if I'm posting after such a long long time!
Well, I DID get time to craft in between all the college work going on. If you catch a cold and are sitting at home, there really is not much to do. So I crafted! *LOL*
I made this card inspired by the Moxie Fab Card Play Challenge.

I was also inspired by the Charisma Cardz Challenge { inspired by song - All My Lifes a Circus } and hence the sentiment on the card { I LOVE it by the way!.. At least my life really is a circus! *wink* }
I am also entering the card for Craft Your Passion Challenge { F Word - Felt }
Oh and since I don't have my cam with me presently { Sad!.. I know! :( } the picture quality of my cards is not at its best!
And lastly I also wanted to participate in Flashback Friday 15.0, so here's my first fall card!

Since I had an off today, I got some time to craft { apart from sleeping, of course! *wink* }
I wanted to play along for the Impression Obsession Challenge { You can NEVER have too many birthday cards right? *wink* }

And since the "TWIST" for the Craft Your Passion Challenge #74 was FLOWERS.. I tried my hand at this BIG { and CUTE } tissue flower!.. And I'm happy with the result! :D
{ Psst!.. The tissue paper used is the one we get along with the transparencies.. Was lying around available for use!.. hehe }

The super awesome colours were inspired by Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger.. I LOVE paint splatters! :D

The sketch was inspired by Card Patterns.
Oh!.. And here is a sneaky peek of architecture *LOL*

We were asked to make walls using erasers as bricks { I made a wall with FLEMISH BOND! :) }.. super fun!

The colours were inspired by CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, YUMMY pic at PDCC and the current ScrapFIT Workout #51

I made this cutie felt rose after such a long long time inspired by Moxie Fab World Challenge.And yeah, I am STILL using digis, I like them better when I don'y have to colour them though! *wink*

I am back!.. ACtually I had gone to Amritsar for a few days to withdraw my admission from the univ. there since I got through the awesome Delhi college! :)
I had soo much fun meeting all my friends again and just for the sake of memories I stayed at the hostel for a night, SUPER FUN! :D

And now I am back and willing to craft! :)

I made this card set { blank cards } for my Aunt. These are pretty useful to have around the house. ;)

First of all, my counselling { college counselling that is ;) } went great and I got USAP { University School of Planning and Architecture } which is in New Delhi! :D.. So I guess I'll be staying here for the next FIVE years! :D

This box was saved up in my "BOX OF STUFF" .. hehe.. It basically contains ALL the boxes, tubes and glass bottles I keep collecting to " beautify " once in a while! :)

I would love to try out my luck for the DT as I love to upcycle!.. Be it bottle caps, a papers or cardboard.. I even loved making my very own sticker organizer and of course, FRAMES ! :D

Oh and do you see the cute ticket peeking out??. Its a digi stamp!.. Hehe, yeah!.. I used a digi.

Look What I Made!! :D

I am super duper excited to share with you something I made, all by myself! :D
And I LOVE it! :)
I got super inspired after reading this post.. { Check out her blog, she is AMAZING! }.. And since I din't have much to do and I did have a lot of cloth pieces kept neatly in a cloth bag { *LOL* } and of course, had to ask mum for the bigger green cloth, I started onto MISSION RUFFLES! *wink*

Oh!.. And this project is done all by myself, WITHOUT any parental help.. YAY!.. And it was my first time on the sewing machine by myself! :D { I am soo proud of me right now! }
But guess what, these many ruffles are still not enough for me! I want to make another pillow cover { BTW its not a stuffed pillow but a pillow cover, so double YAY! } with all its front filled with ruffles.. hehe

Also, I want to share a few RAKs with you!.. I keep on forgetting! { oopsies! }
And both of these were sent to me by two of my best-est crafty buddies! :D

I am well and good and having fun!.. And finally catching up with the crafty world and of course, my sleep! ;)
PLEASE NOTE : THIS IS A PICTURE HEAVY POST
Today I'll share with you the snaps of the time I crafted in my hostel room for the first time! :)
I have joined beds with one of my roomies { We are technically 5 girls in one room!.. hehe }.. and the bed was a complete mess!.. and I have a photo proof of that! :D

I had to make a Rakhi card for my brother, and since the plan of me leaving for Amritsar was sudden, I had no time to craft. So I made one there! :)

And since I was not possession of my dear cammy, I had to click the pics with the phone camera { not bad, but still not that good! *wink* }

Also, I had to make note-cards and bookmarks for the ICR Secret Buddy Swaps.. I had to send these out to three AMAZING crafty - bloggers Tejal, Priya and Piali.

And it was super fun! :D

To tell you the truth I had made this LO for Y's current blog challenge.. I soo loved the challenge!.. Making the LO was super fun and super messy! :D

But, because of the college and hostel stuff, and of course unavailability of a good connection or a lappy, I couldn't post it on time.. hehe
But I made it the very next day the challenge was posted! :D

And T you were soo right!.. I am now in LOVE with the hostel life!.. Its soo much fun!.. :D

Today I finally cleaned my room too!.. Its looks good when you clean it up after two weeks!.. But it does make you hell tired too!.. hehe

I have been enjoying my one more week in Delhi soo much!.. I craft everyday! *YAY*
My counselling is on 30th { which, acc to the time at the moment ie. 2 AM, is tomorrow } and that will decide for me where I finally study { ie. Delhi or Amritsar }
Although I don't mind leaving Delhi, the experience of hostel life is like one in a lifetime! :)

Good Afternoon my blog readers! :D
Since I am here for a week more { Actually, I am also waiting for the Delhi results to be out, who knows.. I might just be here.. fingers crossed! }.. I decided to make full use of my time. So I have been crafting a LOT lately! *YAY*
If I move to Amritsar, I will have to stay without crafting for a month or until I settle down in the hostel.. So why not craft while I am here!
I made this card inspired by the current ICR Challenge.
We have to make a card using small and big creatures { AND we can only use one of each! }.. I LOVE the twists of these challenges!

I had planed the card out a bit differently but that used two of the big creatures { Yeah!.. I HAVE to start reading instructions more carefully! }.. hehe

This card totally screamed out " Friendship " to me!.. I am also entering it for the current CraftyJC ChallengeM.
A part of the challenge was to mail out the card to a friend { I LOVE this part! }.. So I am mailing this card to one of my best friends { I have four best friends! :).. I am blessed! :D }.. She is a non-blogging crafters and has made appearances in THIS and THIS layout! :D

I have been super free with all the exams gone and results yet to come. But I did have some fun! :D

All the Delhi crafters met at K's place yesterday{16th July }.. and we had soo much fun! :D
I saw this challenge at Getting Cricky blog and I just HAD to enter! :D

I made a felt rose and a cloth leaf. I also used magnetic tape for the flap. :)

Good Evening! { Well, its 11 pm here! :P }
NEWS!!.. I made a PINK CARD!.. :D

Yeah!.. i find it hard to make a totally girly card and pink is like the least of my favorites!.. Weird right? ;)

But the Current ICR 6 challenge was to use pink on pink and the twist { oh I LOVE it this time! } was to use a line of embellishments from the given grid!.. I used the diagonal line { Flower, Ribbon and Button }

This post was supposed to be made on my HAPPY BIRTHDAY.. that was June 28th!..
I really didn't think I won't have even a bit of time that day..
But anyway, here's all the news! :D
This June I turned 18!.. so now I am FINALLY an adult!.. this little kid has now grown up!.. YAYAYAY!.. okay, maybe not! *wink*

So, I made this album for myself.. and its cover is very much self explanatory! :)
There are a lott of facts about me in this album that maybe I never shared before! :)

I used loads of my mum's hand-crocheted flowers and laces and loads of fussy cutting! :)

The quilled flowers were RAKs from A and K.. I cannot be so neat with quilling! :)

I used LOADS of Pie Lane products.. Their flower embellishment stickers are soo beautiful!

I also loved Pie Lane's cutie heart stickers!

And their lotus and butterfly stickers are soo gorgeous!!

The silver border stickers are again from Pie Lane.. yeah!.. I am a BIG fan! :D

The camera was a silhouette die-cut.. and the cutie rainbow is a cuttlebug die cute from dear R.. I used Pie Lane's rhinestone stickers.. silver one for the camera flash and the heart one just to personalize my camera! :D :D

The cute white doileys were from dearest S.. thank you! :D

I also used this super cute MSE stamp! :)

I used my very-old-buy-almost-never-used silk tape to hold the twine on the other end! :)

Also, my super super sweet blogger buddies sent me such cute stuff! :D
Karuna dee sent me the card early as she didn't want the wishes to be late!.. awww!.. thanku! :D

And Tejal dee, I am sure, has some magical understanding with the courier company.. she sent me this cutie card exactly on my birthday!.. :D

And look what she made for me!.. a super duper adorably cute cell phone charm!.. and its LAVENDER!.. its my favorite colour!.. thanku! :D

I had seen Komal selling her BEAUTIFUL jewellery online { FINALLY! :D }.. and I LOVED her charm bracelets so I straight-away ordered for one! :)

I also asked her to add "S" and "P" charms to it to personalize it for ME! ;) .. and she made them herself! :D

LOOK!.. so dangly!.. i LOVE IT!..
Later on I asked her to add a key charm to the bracelet too { inspired by Sarah Dessen's book "LOCK AND KEY".. everyone MUST read it! }.. but she had already arranged everything..

Soo.. she made me a cutie necklace along with it too..
And the jewellery was so well-packed and in a cutie handmade paper pouch! :D.. Thank you! :D
And I am soo happy because my future is finally seeming safe.. I am getting a few colleges and am waiting for a few results! :).. Also, My birthday is coming up THIS Tuesday.. 28th JUNE!.. I am super duper excited to finally be 18, an adult!.. YAY! :D

{ Change is easy }

Today I am writing this totally unique post.. I liked the topic and thought I should give it a shot! ;)
Do you think your gadgets reflect your personality??
I mean we buy a gadget and we DO personalize it to make it look funky, fab or just suit our own taste.. and with the choice of skins, covers and even charms available today its a pretty easy job.

A nerd might probably cover his laptop with a simple plaid design or a cute scenery with a garden and a river flowing whereas a popular school diva would totally bedazzle her gadgets!

And the best part is, if ever it goes out of style.. we can just as easily chuck it or replace it with a better and a "cuter" version of the skins. After all, who likes to be ante diluvian? *wink*
And its not only how we personalize our gadgets but also what we personalize that reflects our taste.
One can be a total gadget junky with the top-most and the latest cell phone in hands or one can be happy and content with a Nokia 3320 even in this fastest generation.. It all depends on the need!

One of the reasons of my fascination for the topic is that I, myself, am a true decor junkie!.. hehe.. I LOVE to experiment with new cell phone charms and skins { though I am quite lazy to switch the covers or even replace the BADLY SCRATCHED screen guard! }. Even I have tried loads and loads of cell phone charms { ranges from simple necklace pendants to mum-made crochet flowers } and themes and am still thinking of a new one just for my bday!.. hehe
And this is one of the reasons for my LOVE for the new DELL Inspiron.. :D

Oh, and when we talk about gadgets and electronics, how can we forget about the Silhouette SDs and the heat guns.. these are the gadgets WE CRAFTERS use almost everyday! *wink*

I was super inspired by Ujjwal's Challenge on Yvonne's blog so I used my adhesive tape and die-cut the frame and finally gold embossed it!
Not a very neat attempt at embossing i think.. :)

Sing & Dance

Good Morning!.. Well, its morning here in India! ;)
oh.. and I AM UP! :D
I made a layout using a few of my school photographs.. I have got loads of them and so I have to scrap them right! ;)

I used the current Sketchy Thursdays Sketch.. love it!

Oh and I made a crepe paper flower!.. I was sure I'll miss the deadline but I made it on time for Kristy's Challenge on Yvonne's blog.. YAY! :D

And since I am in LOVE with the PIE LANE products, I used their embellishment stickers, heart sticker and rhinestone sticker! :)
I also used my cute isolated 6 X 6 paper so I am entering it for the current Scrapbookers Anonymous Challenge too..

Heyi!
I am back with another layout featuring my cousin sis {yeah!.. she RULES over my scrapbooks! ;) }

I did a little fussy-cutting { flower } and the black flourish is a Silhouette die-cut
I kept it pretty simple as my mojo is on a leave.. :)

And for a change even I am not cheerful.. really tensed about my college admissions.. Even with a good score it seems like there are absolutely NO ARCHITECTURE COLLEGES to house all the students! :|
But I know everything just HAS to work out right? :)

A few days ago I told you that my sister's flight got delayed so I made her something..
back on the topic!.. I had watched THIS video some time back and was super-duper inspired by that!

I LOVED the idea of storing memories in a journal!.. So I made her my own version of the Smash Journal.. and I call it a FUNKY JOURNO!..
hehe.. I know.. stupid name! *LOL*

I made a little ribbon loop and added a pen to it with refill covered with matching paper! :D

Also, I had joined an arch entrance prep course for 2 months and had some AWESOME fun there too.. Sooo I got the pics developed and they are now waiting to be added to a cute mini album! :)

Can anyone tell that I LOVE journals?? *wink*

Even my blog is going to serve as my very own journal since it has all my memories, style, and fun captured from the days I WAS a school girl!.. hehe :D

Damask Craze

Am I the only one after EVERY SINGLE damask design one can find?!.. I am in LOVE with it! :D

I used the die-cut-with-tape technique with the BEAUTIFUL damask die-cut.. And then of course, Chunky Pie Lane Glitter.

Supplies:- CS - White; Embellishments - Glitter: Pie Lane, Glitter Balls: Pie Lane, Twine: Local; Others - Silhouette SD;

I also received some new { and YUMMY } shades of Pie Lane glitter balls and I just HAD to use them!.. Can anyone go wrong with butterflies? *wink*

Smile { Upcycled Frames }

Hello again! :D

I was highly inspired by the Upcycling Projects Week going on at Y's blog.. so I tried something myself!.. :)
I had these two frames sitting around for a loong loong time, they has some dark blue kid-ish pattern on them..

I sponged the frames black, clear embossed it.. and added LOADS of stickers!
The cute felties are also from RAK by dear Y.. thank you! :)

I am entering this for the current Dutch Dares Challenge.

My sister is here finally.. and since her flight had got delayed and I was absolutely free.. I made her something!.. but more on that in future posts! ;)
Also, my boards (CBSE) result was finally out this Monday.. Got 85.5% { I was a science student }.. so now I am officially a school pass out.. YAY for me! :D

I LOVE this word! :D
I upcycled a frame and made it into something 3-D for the current ICR challenge!..
This is the first time I am participating in the ICR challenge and I am soo happy! :)

Supplies: CS - golden; Embellishments - stickers, glitter balls: Pie Lane; Others: Gold embossing powder

I was super inspired by the photo provided and used the bright colours for the frame! :)

The roses are hand-made and I heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.. I don't think I got a very neat finish.. :|

And since it was all blingy.. how could I NOT use any Pie Lane stuff??.. *wink*.. I used their super pretty silver border stickers, flourish stickers, butterfly and the glitter balls! :D

And another update.. MY SISTER IS COMING TODAY!.. she should have been here by now actually but the stupid flight got delayed!.. I really hate it when that happens!
I guess I'll clean up the room to spend the time.. and also her wardrobe.. Well, if she's not here then she's not using it.. and I may need some exrta space sometiemes.. hehe.. But I guess its best that I take all my stuff out from there! ;)

I made this card cutting these cute loopy borders from Silhouette SD..
PLEASE NOTE: LOADS of scraps have been used up for this card.. resulting in my happiness! :D

The black paper net thing below the twine bow is made from strips of paper stuck together! ;)

LOADS of bling.. { and a tutorial }

Today I have a tutorial using LOADS of this super super awesome Pie Lane Glitter and Silhouette SD!

NOTE - You can use your scrap stash for the card! *wink*

Using double sided paper tape/ adhesive, cover a piece of paper..

Cut out your desired shape using Silhouette or other die-cut machine.

Remove the backing and GET MESSY! ;)

Cover the entire shape using chunky glitter and tap off the excess.

Result : A SUPER FABBIE CARD (I am pretty self obsessed!)

Supplies : CS - White, Kraft, Crimson Red; Stamps: MSE; Inks: Chestnut Brown; Embellishments: Pearls, Jute, Pie Lane Glitter; Others: Silhouette SD

The jute was a sweet RAK from dear Y! :)

I am here again with another card!..
As most of you know I am quite self-obsessed.. ;) .. and I love my crafting!.. hehe..
And this card totally does justice to my crafty ambitions.. LOL
I have no idea what I am blabbering about.. but I do love this card!

Supplies: Cardstock - White; Stamp: Damask (forgot the brand), MSE! ; Embellishments - red rhinestones; Others - black acrylic paint, 1 inch red ribbon;

I was highly inspired by Karuna's Heat Embossing Challenge and I had soo many ideas for that and I finally came up with this using my BEAUTIFUL damask stamp.. :)
Thanks so much K.. I LOVE this challenge! :D

I clear embossed on white CS and used the resist technique by dabbing black paint all over it.. I used acrylic paint.. but I think poster colours would do a better trick..

Okay, from the start.. I was soo inspired by Donna Mundinger's challenge at Y's blog that I started experimenting again with my Silhouette sd.. I used to LOVE Lucy's shaped cards and recently it struck me.. DUDE WHY DON'T YOU TRY IT ON SILHOUETTE?!..

Soo.. with loads of experimenting.. errors and corrections.. I was finally able to come up with this:

Supplies: Cardstock - Baby Pink; Paper - Recycled paper-bag; Stamps - Stampin' Up!, YNS, MSE!; Ink - White, Versamark; Clear embossing powder; Embellishments - Pearls, Flower;

The Pie Lane flower embellishment matched perfectly!

Good Evening!
I have been super busy with my AIEEE preparations and tonnes of crafting in spare time.
Unfortunately, I caught a bad cold and was in bed due to fever for two days. Hate it when you HAVE to study, but you don't WANT to and then you CAN'T! ;)
I'm better, fever gone, but I'm still sniffing.. :)

Anyway, here's a card I made using the craft sheet from an old paper bag! ;).. LOVE recycling!.. And I love the tone-on-tone stamping! :D

I am back for another crafty post.. who thought life after boards will be soo busy!..
I am currently preparing for my entrances.. so I am STILL busy.. :(
But anyway, I finally made a card for the Embossing Challenge with Debbie on Yvonne's blog.. It feels soo good to be back entering cards for challenges!.. *YAY* :D

For this challenge we had to use embossing and sanding technique.. and until yesterday I thought I don't have any core cardstocks.. and when I looked through my stash.. I found this AMAZING CS from CTMH.. I am in LOVE with this colour.. :)

I heat embossed the polka dot design with clear embossing powder and sanded the CS randomly for give it a shabby chick look! *wink*

The Congrats sticker and jute was a lovely RAK from dearest Y.. thank you! :D

I gifted myself some YUMMY American Crafts papers this Diwali!.. and I just HAD to use them!.. so I made a layout!.. :)

Used one of the BEST shots that I have taken over the years!.. hence the name! ;)
I scrap-lifted Faye Perata's LO and added some stuff (PSST.. XOXO have the fab sponsor SCRAP ATTACK this week!)!..

Inspired by the current ScrapFIT Challenge.. used a LOT of oval shapes(the buckle, the flower! ;))..

The photo corner has been created by fussy cutting (inspired by Y) another fab PP.. :).. the alphas are from Itsy Bitsy (love lavender!).. and the stamp a gift from Y again! :D

When you catch a cold and sit at home, what do you do exactly??.. I CRAFT! ;)

Finally made a layout for Smita's challenge on Yvonne's blog.. for using ribbon technique and no stamps.. :)

So I experimented with my silhouette again! :).. added the swayed grass and title.. and made tiny ribbon roses too! :)

Made a simple flower and used a clear button.. and I'm done!..

Also, my entry for Amy's Flashback Friday.. my first Christmas card posted on the blog.. :)

.. I know I am! ;).. but here I referred to my cutie li'l cousin.. yup!.. still scrapping about her! ;)

The LO was inspired by the sketch from Candy Shoppe(who by the way have amazing sponsor this month, BlueMoonScrapbooking!).. super fun!..

And I scraplifted Michelle Jacknicke's (colour scheme) and Kristin Powell's (masking) layouts from Lipstick Chicks DT.. :)

And as totally noticeable.. I went crazy with my Silhouette again! ;).. the tiny butterflies and oh-so-perfect title!.. I masked off some areas using punched and hand-cut hearts and sponged up some black paint over.. awesome results!.. :)

I rolled up a quarter(yep! ;)) of a glue drop and put it under the wings of the tiny butterflies so they remain popped up!

My crafty time has now been reduced to ONCE-IN-A-WHILE :(.. but I'm still going to be gifting myself some crafty stuff.. makes me happy! :D

Another LO featuring me and my cutie cousin sister(whose hand was earlier featured in THIS layout)..

I made this LO for Sherry's challenge on Yvonne's blog.. I was soo much inspired with Y's stitching that I used it heavily on this LO..

The title was first scribbled on with a pencil.. I poked the holes later.. hand-stitched S and faux-stitched on the rest of the letters!(stitching is hard work! ;))

My mom has a new hobby.. crocheting!.. so I'm using a lot of them on my projects! :D

The first card has some silhouette cut flourishes and the flower from a beautiful paper that I found on an invite!.. :)

My mom made this crochet border and I looved it.. :)

I thought it didn't need a sentiment! ;)

The second card uses a lott of crochet stuff!.. and a few pearl headpins.. :)

.. and again the sentiment is cut out from the silhouette.. The pp is soo beautiful(thanks T!)

Twines vases..

Finally the project for Yvonne's Challenge..
I had saved up these really boring glass bottles which, of course, i found interesting! ;)..

And I turned them into cute vases using a bit (okay, a LOTT!) of twine!.. :D

Holidays are going great!.. Catching up with all the fun I missed during exams ;)..
Okay, now I'm off to watch Step Up 3! :D

Belated Happy World Card Making Day!.. :D
And this follows a post WITHOUT a card! ;)..
I have been been absent from the blog-land even after my exams for a reason.. I have been experimenting.. with SOMETHING that i bought..
... please welcome.. MY SIHOUETTE SD! :D

I had saved up practically ALL my money for this!.. and Mom was the coolest to use her credit card (before telling Daddy dearest about its use, of course! ;))..
I received it in like 15 days (well in time, the day before my holidays started.. got it after I came back from school!), and we didn't have to pay a lot of money in the customs.. PLUS I got it on discount for 200$ instead of the usual 300$.. wohoo!!.. I AM SOO SOO HAPPY! :D

Okay, now moving on to a layout.. remember the candle fun me and my sis had??.. well, I scrapped that!

Some handstitching, very faint white stamping and stickers (*wink*Smita!).. also used some scrap robbon pieces and of course hand-doodling! :)

Now, I'll be signing off, have got LOTTS to do! ;).. oh!.. and I have a special HOLIDAY project, renovating my room! :D

I'm back with another back-to-school layout!.. :)

Exams over!.. YAY!.. celebrating independence!.. I would also like to thank the Commonwealth Games.. getting 15 days off!.. WOW!.. life is good! :)

Sister is back to S'pore.. she had got me my heat embossing stuff and stamps (Thanks Y!) :).. missing her..

Lots of stamping and misting on the layout.. use ribbon scraps as photo corners.. some hand-stitching (loving it!) and some funky journaling! :)

Tiny Hands..

No post for a week!.. WOW!.. didn't realize it had been that long!.. yup!.. studies DO affect us!.. one more reason why one shouldn't study! ;) ..(I should soo write a book on that!..)
So the latest news is that I am TOTALLY busy with exams.. last one on thursday.. YAY!.. and my sis is here for a week.. from S'pore.. :)

And now finally a layout.. Made this one a while ago..

I loove the pic.. part of my photography session with my cousin sis.. her hands in mine.. AWWW! :))

I upcycled a bottlecap (Yvonne *wink!*) and used a sticker over it (thank you Smita!.. have been using lott of those lately! :))..

Got WAYY to artistic lately.. and hence the splatters and dabs and circles ;)

Looved this LO.. hehe.. sorry can't help it.. I just have so many memories attached to this one! :)

I used my old time table as the bg, the pocket contains a silly-fun note passed during lectures! ;) and the small card has a random card given to me by my bestie.. :)

Used some OLD(trust me, i mean it! ;)) grid paper and some stamping.. okay lotts of stamping! :)

Loong time no post.. :(.. Been busy with studies! ;)
Had made the layout a long time ago.. and used some OLIVE GREEN!.. yay!.. love that colour!..

The ribbon flower is handmade..

I doodled the journaling around the pp.. :)

Latest buy: MAGNETIC TAPE and EYELET SETTER!.. woohoo! :))

Another card using the fabric tape.. I tried pleating too!.. awesome! :)
The card uses an unmounted My Sentiments Exactly stamp and follows the amazing sketch of Priscilla Syles..

The colour scheme has been taken from this week's Love My Tapes challenge.

The challenge was to use tape transfers.. and vintage storybook paper has been my favourite! ;)..

I am loving the circle template.. did you notice my clean scallop edge??.. YAY!.. just semicircles placed together! :).. oh and did you see my handmade flower?.. *wink!*

I inked up my white fabric tape in pink to coordinate with the inspiration photo..

And I finally got my cute jef border punch and a circle template from SHALINI!.. many circle cards and layouts on the way!.. thank you!!..

Always By Your Side..

Finally a layout!.. Making this post at 2:30 am and had sat down to make it at 12:00 am..
Finally finished the project for Paperworks Challenge #3..

Used the digi generously donated by Chi Chi Memories.. and a pic of me and my sis! :D

I stink at colouring!.. so I didn't try to be a pro. and paper pieced the image(always seems to work! ;)..).. I cut out the band-aid (or whatever its called) separately and stuck it on adding a bit of cotton to fluff it up! :)

The layout was totally unplanned but I'm glad it turned out pretty okay! :)

Happy Independence Day!..
Okay I know it was yesterday (I am writing this post on 12:32am on Tuesday in context to Monday! ;) ).. but officially, my weekly tests got over today.. so Its MY independence day too! :)
I would love to warn you here that I am going to blabber a LOT here and you may feel like punching me! ;).. I have been working today as a total Zombie, sleep deprived!.. Was up till 5 am to study for the test and had to wake up again at 6:30.. :).. But I am soo happy that the day is finally over!
Okay, NOT EXACTLY NEW BUT NEWLY-INTENSED INTEREST --> SCRAPBOOKING!.. have been doing a LOT of that lately.. so many layouts coming up!..
You MOST PROBABLY know by now (but anyways I'm gonna say it! :)) that Shalini, Tejal, Smita and I are participating in the PWCO CHALLENGE.. with four days of daily challenge fun and winners chosen by voting.. so we need you! :)

Now FINALLY onto the card.. I had to send Rakhis (from me and my sis) to two of our brothers.. so OBVIOUSLY made the cards! :)

The Rakhis are threaded onto the card and tied inside..This was based on a CP sketch whose submission I obviously missed! ;)

And look what I received in my mil today!.. Karuna has sent me this beautiful card and an amazing book that I won in her blog giveaway.. Thanks a TONN! :)

I am soo exhausted!.. I have been super busy and really have no idea what's going around these days!.. :(

Anyways, sad notes over.. heres the creative news.. I tried Japanese bookbinding from this tutorial.
I LOVED the result..

Added some photo corners.. and made my very own photo album! :)

Hey!.. almost forgot.. Does anyone know from where can I find a scallop border punch??.. tired of searching around! :(

Beauty from scraps!..

lol!.. i love this title!.. I couldn't find any appropriate one though..
So the thing is, that I made a card entirely from scraps..(even the rose!).. and its sooo good! ;).. i like it!.. hehe

The green has been coloured in the sheet using Stabilo pens.. and the rose is from a Tim Holtz tutorial.. thanks Smita dee! :).. I am entering this card for Blackleaf Studio Challenge.

Oh and here's some news, I have found an amazing seller.. she has everything (punches, cutting mat, quilling and parchment craft products, shilpi products)!.. and if she doesn't she orders that for you!.. she's really sweet too!.. here's her contact info
